Short Description

The Sales Operations Analyst at Herc Rentals will play a key role in supporting a variety of complex projects in collaboration with – Sales, Operations, Pricing, HR, Fleet, Risk management, Procurement, Legal, and Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing intelligence to prioritize opportunities and increase market penetration around customer verticals

  • Prepare customer reporting and publish Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to improve customer satisfaction

  • Assist in the transformation to automate customer reporting by leveraging internal and external stakeholders

  • Customer facing interaction to enhance their experience and drive partner value through data analytics and technology

  • Leverage data analytics to increase market share, drive revenue and support sales functions

  • Contract life-cycle management. Manage sales agreement end to end process

  • Manage the proposal process and leverage internal stakeholders to complete upcoming RFP’s, Bids, questionnaires, presentations and contracts/agreements

  • Manage territory optimization changes and realignments to maximize opportunity

  • Identify opportunities by creating appropriate strategies by using various analytic tools and data.

  • Work with internal groups to successfully implement strategies and tactics developed to meet the revenue/opportunity goals

  • Identify bottlenecks in the sales process and implement strategies to improve efficiency

  • Create and support a strategy for online opportunity searching and support as necessary.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business discipline

  • Ability to multitask in a deadline driven environment

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

  • Analytical experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Passionate about continuous improvement

  • Sales related support function experience

Preferred Requirements

  • 3+ years experience

  • Masters degree in a Business discipline

  • Salesforce.com experience

  • Contract & document management experience
