Short Description

The Lead Credit Clerk validates, requests and compiles the necessary information required to evaluate credit worthiness of an applicant. They monitor and respond to the Herc Credit email inbox, fax, and hotline. They are a subject matter expert in our online application platform, eApply and support the field with submissions. For this reason, they play a critical role in revenue and market share growth, while minimizing risk and will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication and multi-tasking skills; and be detailed and deadline oriented.

Responsibilities

The first point of contact with Credit Applications

Review application for reactivation as applicable.

Validate name changes on account.

Work directly with branch locations via the branch hot line.

Audit new accounts for all necessary information.

Work with the Credit Analyst if additional information is needed to make a credit decision.

Assist with Canadian credit limit increases.

Provide support with required reporting.

Assist customers via email and telephone.

Other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

Professional Experience

Customer Service, previous credit experience preferred
